When the second episode of Season 7 of the popular Starz series Outlander airs, a number of characters will sadly be missing.
The second episode of Outlander season seven has been eagerly anticipated by fans, but some may be disappointed to learn that some of their favourite characters won’t feature.
There are currently four people who are undoubtedly leaving for various reasons, while Jamie Fraser played by Sam Heughan and Claire Fraser by Caitriona Balfe are obviously secure.
Because of the plots in Diana Gabaldon’s book series, some absences happen.
Conflicts in schedule account for others.
Fans may anticipate the release of the second half of Outlander season seven in 2024, however it won’t include all of their favourite characters because filming has already ended and post-production has started.
Season 8 production has begun after the writers’ strike disagreement was settled.
Fergus and Marsali.
The first is a double-edged sword.
Marsali and Fergus are the two most notable characters who do not appear in Outlander season 7B.
Maril Davis, the show’s executive producer, has announced that the couple won’t appear in any of season seven. Lauren Lyle, who plays Fergus Fraser on the television show Marsali Fraser, and Cesar Domboy were both working on different projects as the second half of the season was being filmed.
Davis and the other producers discussed the plot lines for the two actors’ characters with them.
Which raises a significant query regarding Claire’s visit to America.
Marsali serves as Claire’s kind of comeback in the books. Concerning Henri-Christian’s health, Marsali writes to Laoghaire.
Making a pact, Laoghaire begs Claire to preserve her grandson.
Murdina bug.
Since season five, husband and wife Arch (Hugh Ross) and Murdina Bug (Sarah Collier) have played fantastic supporting roles.
However, throughout the early half of season seven, their jobs took on even greater significance.
They took Jocasta Cameron’s (Maria Doyle Kennedy) French gold and stashed it under the house. When Claire and Jamie’s home caught fire, they were in the process of transferring it to another hiding location.
Murdina Bug was killed by Young Ian (John Bell), and Arch immediately plotted his retaliation.
As a result, when the popular Starz series returns, Arch will play a significant role.
Donner Wendigo.
Additionally absent from the second half of Outlander season seven will be Wendigo Donner (Brennan Martin), another time traveller who Claire meets in season five.
In order to grab some gemstones and come home, he went to the Big House.
Wendigo died in the fire despite Jamie’s efforts to rescue everyone.
His absence from the books means that the plot is over.
Just as the fire’s gases began to fill the home, Wendigo had a match in his hands.
