The love history of Jamie and Claire in the television series Outlander demonstrates that they are resilient despite having been born in different eras.

Episodes 6 and 7 of Season 1: Jamie and Claire’s friendship develops, and they get married.
Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall (also portrayed by Tobias Menzies), an English knight who is also an ancestor of Claire’s husband Frank, becomes interested in Claire. It is decided that Claire will marry Jamie in order to shield her from Randall, who becomes fixated on discovering her past.
Claire will become formally Scottish after she marries Jamie, making it impossible for Randall or another English officer to remove or detain her without justification. Jamie and Claire get married out of necessity in Outlander season 1, episode 7, “The Wedding,” but their union sparks love impulses.
The two talk about their upbringings and histories before getting married to avoid embarrassing moments on their wedding night. After sharing a bed, Claire is conflicted after realising

Jamie takes seriously his promise to always keep Claire safe. Claire returns to the standing stones after marrying Jamie in an effort to find Frank again. Randall kidnaps her, but Jamie manages to save her.
Jamie immediately jumps to Claire’s defence when she is charged with witchcraft. In the eleventh episode of season one of Outlander, “The Devil’s Mark,” Claire admits to Jamie that she is from the future. He can not comprehend it, yet he accepts her account.
Claire saves Jamie in Season 1, Episode 12 of Episode 16 and learns she is expecting Jamie’s child.
Redcoats capture Jamie during a botched raid; he later manages to get away and is eventually recaptured. Randall sexually assaults and tortures Jamie while she is detained.
Even after Jamie is liberated, Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) is still troubled by the assault he suffered from. When Jamie says that he wants to die, Claire declares her love for him and says, “If you take away the one last thing that makes sense to me, then I will die with you right here, right now.” As Claire and Jamie embark on their journey to France.
Season 2, Episode 8 – Season 2, Episode 13: Claire & Jamie Say Goodbye & Claire Returns To Frank.
The trials Jamie and Claire face continue throughout Season 2 of Outlander. Jamie is convinced he will die in the Battle of Culloden and Claire is expecting back in Scotland.
Jamie demands Claire go back to her time period for her and their kid out of genuine love. Following a tearful farewell, Jamie leads Claire’s hands to the standing stone, where they part ways. Brianna, Claire’s daughter, is adjusting to learning that Frank is not her biological father in 1968. Claire learns at the end of the season that Jamie did not perish at the Battle of Culloden.
Episodes 5 and 13 of Season 3 are titled “Jamie and Claire Reunite and Arrive in America.”
Early on in their relationship timeline on Outlander, Jamie and Claire are established as the endgame, by TV couple standards. Claire’s love for Jamie were evidently stronger than her feelings for Frank throughout the first season.
Midway through the third season, when Brianna and Roger (Richard Rankin) assist Claire in looking into what happened to Jamie after Frank’s death, the first love triangle is fully resolved.
Claire comes to the standing stones in search of Jamie after Roger is able to determine where he was in 1765. Jamie swoons at her sight as she discovers him in a print shop.
Claire learns that Jamie is wed to Laoghaire (Nell Hudson) after meeting with him and Fergus. Although Jamie first makes Claire angry for the treachery, his marriage to Laoghaire is now invalid because she came back.
The remaining episodes of Outlander season 3 show that despite their repeated separations, Claire and Jamie always come back together. During their return trip from Jamaica, a hurricane destroys their ship. Claire, Jamie, Fergus, and Marsali (Lauren Lyle) wash ashore in the Province of Georgia rather of returning to Scotland.
