When it comes to debating the characters on the popular Starz series Power Book II: Ghost, viewers typically have different opinions.
Everyone can agree that Cane Tejada (Woody McClain), the Tejada enforcer, is a problem, though Cane has developed a reputation for being a hothead who acts without thinking first ever since the start of the show.
He has killed several people, including Frank Tejada (David Zayas) and Office Ramirez (Shalim Ortiz), which has only produced problems for the Tejada family’s drug business.
Not to mention that Cane continues to terrorise Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) and frequently goes against Monet’s wishes.
Everyone in the Powerverse typically receives some form of retribution for their errors, much like how art imitates life.
The fact that Power Book II: Ghost Season 3’s final scene ends in a shootout has led some to speculate that Cane may have paid the ultimate pay for his errors.
During a private interview with Distractify, Woody
Tariq is taken aback by Noma (Caroline Chikeze), Dru (Lovell Adams-Gray), Diana (LaToya Tonodeo), Effie (Alix Lapri), and Cane in Season 3 Episode 10, who had all conspired to get rid of him.
Cane brandishes a gun and tells Tariq that he has been waiting a long time to murder him. The lights in the warehouse suddenly go out as Cane is about to shoot Tariq, and Brayden (Gianni Paolo) runs in to shoot Cane and cause a distraction so they can flee.
As the shooting starts, keen-eyed spectators notice that Cane was shot by Brayden, and it appears like Cane was struck in the chest.
Some people believe that Cane might have received a serious injury and could be the next victim on the show based on how the incident was edited.
Fans will unfortunately have to speculate on Woody’s feelings.
“I’m not sure. I don’t even want to talk about Cane getting shot, Woody exclusively told Distractify. I’m getting sentimental right now. I feel upset just thinking about it since I adore Cane so much.
Woody continued, “We don’t know if Cane survived Season 3.”
If you watched the thrilling season finale, you already know that Monet (Mary J. Blige), who was shot, is presently fighting for her life.
People are curious as to what Cane’s future would include if he survives Season 4 considering that he was completely prepared to kill Tariq and has been making decisions regarding the drug enterprise.
It’s interesting to note that Cane has reversed the “hothead” narrative in Season 3, which Woody claimed is crucial to Cane’s quest for the top job.
Season three was all about Cane stepping up to the plate and considering his actions before acting, Woody informed us. The way he handled everything surrounding his father killing Zeke shown significant development.
I think Cane can take over and lead the empire because he has been acting strategically all season.
Additionally, Cane discovered a lot from Mecca (Daniel Sunjata) as a result of their business partnership, according to Woody.
“I think Mecca was that guy that was kind of there for [Cane] when his father wasn’t, and he taught him a lot,” Woody said. “I think it could really work,” you say, “if you give Cane that chance and surround him with the right people.”
Therefore, there is a great likelihood that Noma’s drug business may be drastically altered in Power Book II: Ghost Season 4.
Cane’s ring will have to be kissed by everyone. Time will only tell.
