Ram 1500 REV:Price, Range, Specs.
Ram has officially launched its entry into the EV pickup truck market. Ram is presenting the car as its answer to Ford’s F-150 Lightning. And it is quite an impressive response indeed!
Battery and Range
The Ram 1500 REV boasts an extremely large 229 kWh battery, which allows it to target a range of 500 miles (804 km) on a single charge.
In addition, there is also a “smaller” battery option, which offers a capacity of 168 kWh, more than twice what most EVs offer, and is expected to provide a range of “only” 350 miles (563 km). But there’s more to come!
When it comes to price, the all electric Ram truck is rumored to cost around $50,000. We will however keep you updated when the officla price is out.
Performance
If you’re curious about how it performs, the Ram 1500 REV aims to achieve a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) acceleration time of 4.4 seconds. Thanks to its impressive power output of 654 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque. Its all-wheel drive system is provided by dual 250 kW electric drive modules
The Ram 1500 REV can tow up to 14,000 pounds (6,350 kg) and carry a maximum payload of 2,700 pounds (1,224 kg). It supports bi-directional charging between vehicles, homes, and grids, with on-board power panels providing 7.2 kW in the bed and 3.6 kW in the frunk.
The truck is constructed on the new STLA Frame, specifically designed for full-size EVs with a body-on-frame configuration. The STLA Frame has a wider middle section to accommodate the battery pack more efficiently. With a drag coefficient of 0.34, the Ram 1500 REV is the most aerodynamic truck in its segment.

Storage and Interior
The frunk of the Ram 1500 REV has a capacity of 15 cubic feet. Inside the truck is a 14.5-inch center touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch passenger screen, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display, and a Klipsch audio system.
The passenger screen can perform three main functions. These are Co-Pilot (navigation, device management), entertainment (via HDMI), and the ability to view the vehicle’s external cameras.
Additionally, there is an HDMI plug available to connect a phone or tablet. It enables the screen to act as an extension of the connected device.
We don’t expect to see any units on the market earlier than 2024, and most likely late 2024.
