The street music sensation Naira Marley has finally provided his own perspective on the passing of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Naira Marley discussed his attempts to seek the late musician Mohbad proper mental care in an interview that was published on the X (formerly known as Twitter) page of a Social Media Influencer, Reno Omokri, on Wednesday. He also mentioned how he paid for scans.
Naira Marley also discussed his friendship with Lagos socialite Sam Larry and other matters pertaining to the accusations made against him in connection with Mohbad’s untimely death.
Additionally, Naira Marley posted a video of his final conversation with the late singer Mohbad, in which they later discussed his battle with suicidal thoughts.
“There was another time when I was in America and his girl called me to say he (mohbad) locked himself in the bathroom and he wanted to kill himself or something like that,” Naira Marley said.
I then dialled his number from there and filmed our chat, in which I questioned him about his desire to end his life. You are a king, so if your family is worrying you (because this time, he was with his family), simply tell them to calm down and let you do what you want to.
If you stress yourself out now, what will people think if you commit suicide since you already made a video stating clearly that the world should know am the cause of your death if you die..
“In the video, he was attempting suicide; I was just trying to figure out what was wrong with him.”
Naira Marley reaffirmed his willingness to go back to Nigeria provided the Nigerian Police would guarantee his safety so he could clear his name of accusations linking him to the death of his ex-signee Mohbad.
